Bookkeeper

Join our team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator.​ Make payments and control expenses; reconcile processed work; charge expenses to accounts and cost centers; pay vendors and employees; maintain accounting ledgers and records; verify vendor accounts; disburse petty cash; report sales taxes; process payroll & State and Federal payroll taxes; file quarterly payroll tax returns, W-2's & 1099's.​

Qualifications

  • Assist accounting team members in performing bookkeeping services for clients.​

  • Perform a variety of accounting tasks utilizing client records.​

  • Reconcile bank accounts and research discrepancies.​

  • Prepare payroll and payroll tax returns, sales and other local tax returns.​

  • Experienced in working with multiple entities and/​or clients.​

  • 5+​ years experience is required.​ Associate Degree is a plus.​

  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, QuickBooks and/​or other related accounting and tax software.​

  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail.​ Is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work.​

  • Must be flexible and have the ability to "think out of the box".​
